Act 2 centers around Last Light Inn and the Moonrise Towers, where you’re tasked with killing Ketheric Thorm, who won’t die no matter how many times he’s injured. If you didn’t save Zevlor in Act 1, you won’t be finding him in Act 2.

Moonrise Towers is a place filled with followers of the Absolute. If you’re playing as the Dark Urge, Moonrise Towers is particularly interesting because your personal quest updates to request that you explore the area.

Part of the Act 2 main quest has you infiltrate Moonrise Towers pretending to be a True Soul. This leads to an audience with Ketheric Thorm, and as you continue through the main quests, you learn that Moonrise Towers is located on top of an Illithid colony. You’ll be able to enter the Illithid colony after fighting Ketheric Thorm on top of the tower at the end of the Moonrise Towers questline.
