This one is riddled with exposed coal, iron, and copper ore, so you’ll be able to craft decent tools and armor on your first day in the world. Use these tools to explore the shipwreck and underwater ruins in the nearby lake and Warm Ocean. They’ll make gathering treasures like Coastal Armor Trims and Sniffer Eggs as easy as punching trees.

The villagers residing in this Snowy Village live every day carefully to avoid being attacked by the Pillager Outpost next door. From village to mansion

Use the villages to stock up on resources like food, weapons, and armor. Once you’re strong enough to stand on your own, make the trip to the Mansion to show its mobs who’s boss.

Shallow cave entrance: 99, 137

Two village seed

What could be better than spawning between the two plains villages? Well, one of them could have a blacksmith, which is exactly the case with this seed. Important Locations and their coordinates
Plains Village 1: 10, 9

Tiny village near Zombie Village

If you think that starting the game with a blacksmith is cheating, then here’s a seed for hardcore survival enthusiasts. You’ll spawn in a tiny village with only a few huts that stands right next to a zombie village. There’s no blacksmith here to help you craft armor and weapons, so you’ll have to use torches and handcrafted weapons to scare the zombies away.

Zombie Village: 110, -89

Structure-filled Taiga

A Mangrove Swamp that appears in the desert biome is like an oasis. Here, I spawned in a Desert Village conveniently standing right next to a small patch of mangrove trees. After looking around, you’ll discover two more villagers around the same patch. This makes the whole seed much more rewarding, especially since the rest of the Desert has many other enticing structures.

Desert Village 3: -454, 137

Four corners

Sometimes Minecraft manages to generate symmetrically-positioned structures, although it’s extremely rare. Here, I spawned in the center of a perfect square, consisting of three villages and a Pillager Outpost that are separated by an equal number of blocks. This is a great spot for setting up a dedicated survival server, involving various types of gameplay and at least four different groups of players.

Important Locations and their coordinates
Plains Village 1: 10, 13
Plains Village 2: -180, -106
Plains Village 3: 172, -166
Pillager Outpost: 5, -326

Two villages in the Jungle

Villages rarely spawn in such an exotic location as a Jungle. However, in this seed you get two villages with Trail Ruins near a Jungle biome. Plains Village: 22, 48
Savanna Village: 37, -91
Trail Ruins: -164, 101

Snowy Village with igloo

Screenshot by Gameskinny

The best sources of loot in Snowy biomes are typically igloos with basements. Fortunately, this seed starts you off in a Snowy Village containing one of these igloos! It blends in with the rest of the village, but you can easily tell its interior apart from the other igloos in the village. Unlike most other igloos with basements, this one has a slightly more hidden basement. You’ll need to break some of the dirt blocks on the floor to find it.

Important Locations and their coordinates
Snowy Village: -1, 10
Igloo with basement: 35, 37

Two villages and a portal

Screenshot by Gameskinny

There’s no better way to start a survival game in Minecraft than to spawn between two villages with an exposed ruined portal. Once you pass through the portal, you’ll spawn between a Nether Fortress and Bastion Housing Units. If you’re not ready to brave the Nether just yet, test your fighting prowess at the Pillager Outpost at the edge of the Savanna.

Important Locations and their coordinates
Savanna Village 1: 61, 57
Savanna Village 2: 59, -140
Ruined Nether portal: 92, 51

Screenshot by Gameskinny

As soon as I spawned on top of a hill, I immediately noticed a Plains Village with a blacksmith and a Snowy Village that stretched all the way into an Ice Spikes biome. I kept following the icy territory to the east and discovered that it had a Frozen Ocean I could walk on. When the ocean begins breaking apart into tall icebergs, you’ll be able to see a hidden Ocean Monument at the edge of the ocean’s surface.

Important Locations and their coordinates
Blacksmith Village: 30, 87
Snowy Village: -119, 68
Ocean Monument: -497, 175

Cure the Zombie Village

Screenshot by Gameskinny

You can’t experience Minecraft in full if you’ve never dealt with an abandoned village full of zombies. Here, you spawn in an area that has both a normal village and a zombie village. You can make it the goal of your survival session to turn all zombie villagers into normal NPCs by feeding them golden apples. If you need help with that, check out the hidden chests in the nearby Desert Temple

Important Locations and their coordinates
Savanna Village: 6, 22
Zombie Village: -141, 38
Desert Temple: 537, 107

Temples and villages

A Minecraft seed with two Desert Temples and two Desert Villages at Spawn
Screenshot by Gameskinny

If you’re looking for easy loot, here’s a seed with two villages and two Desert Temples at Spawn. Each Desert Temple is found to the east of one of the Desert Villages. Note that as you travel south in this seed, you’ll begin entering new biomes with colder climates, like a Forest and a Cherry Grove. This is important for players who want to find new resources or who just don’t want to live in a Desert.

Important Locations and their coordinates
Desert Village 1: 40, -160
Desert Village 2: 134, 92
Desert Temple 1: 214, -151

Double Mountain Village

Screenshot by Gameskinny
  • Seed: 5212633

  • Spawn: -4, 8
  • Biomes: Plains, Meadow

Would you rather live in the middle of a mountain or just at the foot of it? In this world, you can have both! This mountain formation is as safe as it can get and makes for some interesting builds. Build inside of the creator for extra security or craft a gravity-defting base on top of the mountain’s spiky peaks.

Important Locations and their coordinates
Mountain crater village: 22, -140
Mountainside village: 84, 87
