A lot has changed with Cyberpunk 2077 over the years, especially with the 2.0 patch and the release of Phantom Liberty. The amount of attribute points you can earn throughout the base game hasn’t changed even with the big update, but expansion players get a few extra to play with. Base Game Attribute Points Explained

When you first start anew with V, you have 15 attribute points already allocated evenly across each attribute. You’re then granted seven additional points to allocate as you see fit, for a total of 22 points.

As the max level is 50 in the base Cyberpunk 2077 game, you’ll rack up a total of 71 attribute points for V in the base game. Forty-nine are from leveling, while 22 are from the initial allocations and the points it gives you to start.

Phantom Liberty Attribute Points Explained

The Phantom Liberty expansion adds another 10 levels to the initial cap, raising the max level cap to 60. With this new cap, are 10 additional attributes to put into V, raising the total amount of attributes you can end up with to 81.

Can You Max Out Every Attribute?

It’s not possible to max out every attribute in Cyberpunk 2077 without the use of mods. Being that you’d need a total of 100 points to put a full 20 points into all five attributes, you’ll need to think carefully about how to finish off your build with the last few points in particular.

Though it’s now possible to respec attributes, CD Projekt RED didn’t make it a painless process as they did with perks. You can only respec attributes once. After that, you’re out of luck. You’ll want to allocate them well, particularly after respeccing, so you don’t end up with a bum build.

That’s all you need to know about how many attribute points you can get in Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty. V needs your help to deal with the troubles in Dogtown, and you might need some help yourself. Check out our expansive guide library for Cyberpunk 2077.
