Night City is dark, and a lot of the jobs you take as V require you to navigate even darker areas. It’s generally convenient in games to have a flashlight mod for guns, but a light source of any sort is better than nothing. So, is there a flashlight in the game for Cyberpunk 2077?

Is There a Flashlight in Cyberpunk 2077?

Night City has a lot of advanced tech, and V and their allies make use of these tools to complete jobs. Yet it seems impossible to find a simple flashlight.

Even during the day, sections of Night City can be fairly dark. And that makes it difficult to move through areas. At the same time, there’s never a mention of flashlights from anybody in the game. You don’t find them available for purchase in shops. At best, it’s annoying to go through the game without a flashlight.

Your Best Light Options

And as it turns out, there’s no flashlight in Cyberpunk 2077. Your best option is to install a mod (like this one) if you need one. You won’t find one in Night City otherwise, no matter how much you search. Even with the addition of 2.0 and the Phantom Liberty expansion, there’s still no flashlight to be found in-game, and that seems odd for a place so futuristic to be lacking something so simple.

Sadly the answer to whether you can get a flashlight in Cyberpunk 2077 is “No.” There is no flashlight in the game Cyberpunk 2077. The only option you have to acquire one is through the use of mods. At this point, it seems unlikely that flashlights will be added in the future either. Especially if you consider the length of time the game’s been released and the number of updates it’s already received.
