Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty: Where to Buy Iconic Weapons

Want an easy way to get Iconic weapons in Cyberpunk 2077? In Phantom Liberty, you can buy them. Here's where.

Iconic weapons are the rarest, usually most powerful weapons in their class in Cyberpunk 2077. They’re also usually locked behind long questlines or, more frequently, held by specific characters. The only way to get them before the Phantom Liberty expansion was to complete those quests or kill the NPCs in question (or loot the body of the NPC if you don’t kill them yourself). However, Phantom Liberty added a way to buy Iconics for a hefty fee, should you need to. Here’s where you can find them.

You actually pass by where you buy Iconic weapons on your way into Dogtown the first time, but you can’t interact with them until your tutorial into the expansion ends and you can access the open world. You’ll meet the Black Market Vendor in the large arena in the northwest of the district.

Take the path toward where you first entered Dogtown until you see an incredibly cyberized person with a stall positively brimming with guns. They’re an eclectic sort, but their inventory is singular. Based on what I can see, the Black Market Vendor sells every Iconic available in the base version of Cyberpunk 2077, provided you don’t already own them. That means the likes of Satori, Lizzy, and many others are available for more than 100,000 eurodollars apiece.

What’s amazing about the Iconic vendor is if you have enough money — or know a good enough way to make it — they allow you to bypass potentially dozens of hours of content from the base game. The Satori katana is missable entirely if you don’t pick it up from the roof of Konpeki Plaza during the heist there.

Better yet, if you reach Phantom Liberty at a high enough level (around 35 or so), the vendor’s entire inventory will be at Tier 5, what was once called Legendary rarity. Waiting to purchase the Iconics, then, will save you hundreds of crafting materials and possibly thousands of weapons/eddies dismantling items or buying the things.

From what I can tell, Phantom Liberty Iconics are not part of the Black Market Vendor’s inventory, so you’ll still need to go out of your way to get the new items. For additional help with content from the Cyberpunk 2077 expansion and the base game, check out our guides hub.
