Kindling allows you to upgrade the Solstice-specific Candescent Armor so you can re-roll its stats using Silver Ash. You’ll need Silver Leaves to make Silver Ash in the Bonfire Bash activity, and we’ll cover the best way to farm them in this guide.

How to Farm Silver Leaves During Solstice of Heroes 2022

You’ll need to be wearing your Candescent Armor to collect Silver Leaves from activities in Destiny 2, but not all of them are created equal. Your optimal farm needs to be consistent, easy to do, and rewarding enough to justify the time investment. Currently, the best choice is the core playlist activities of Strikes, Gambit, and Crucible. Here’s why.

  1. The activities you farm should progress your Event Card Challenges, ideally more than one at a time. Several grindier Event Card Challenges require you to defeat enemies with specific weapons or complete specific activities, and with the core suite, you can focus on several at once.
  2. You want a farm that can be done solo, or as a group, so while there is a cheesy method of getting Silver Leaves going around, it requires a fireteam of willing participants, access to the Witch Queen campaign, and some checkpoint manipulation that could cost more time than it’s worth if ruined.
  3. Playlist activities provide the most Silver Leaves for the time you invest. Every Strike, Gambit, or Crucible match you complete awards between four or five Silver Leaves, and depending on how fast you can complete them, you can get between 40 and 70 Silver leaves per hour.

You don’t need to pay any money for Strikes, Gambit, or Crucible; they’re more than doable solo and don’t take long to accomplish. You’ll also be able to complete Event Challenges, Bounties, and crafted weapon progression without being under much stress or needing to game the system.

Using the tips outlined above, you can spend as much or as little time as you like to farm Silver Leaves in Destiny 2’s Solstice of Heroes 2022 without needing to pay a cent of real money and upgrade all the event armor quickly and consistently. We’ll be covering more about Solstice 2022 soon, so check out our Destiny 2 guides hub for more.
