Once you’ve picked up the quest, you’ll need to listen to Fairy Godmother and Merlin chit-chat about The Forgetting. There will be some foreshadowing about a future quest, where they mention having tea together. After they’ve finished talking, speak with Fairy Godmother.

She’ll tell you that she needs your help putting out the fires in The Forgotten Lands, which involves enchanting your Royal Watering can, much like previous quests in the game. Here’s what you’ll need to collect for the Icy Enchantment.

How to Put Out Fires in the Forgotten Lands in Disney Dreamlight Valley

  • 3x Tourmaline
    • Mined in the Frosted Heights and Sunlit Plateau Biome
  • 15x Snowball
    • Gathered in Frosted Heights
    • Mined from Ice
    • Can be purchased from Kristoff’s Stall
  • 5x Dream Shard
    • Found in digging spots
    • Can be harvested by removing Night Thorns
    • Feeding Critters can drop one
  • 5x Purple Impatiens
    • Gathered in the Forgotten Lands
  • 1x Empty Vial
    • Crafted from 3x Glass
    • Can be purchased from Kristoff’s Stall

Once you’ve collected all of the ingredients, craft the Icy Enchantment at any Crafting Station. Then, go into your inventory and select it to apply it to your Royal Watering Can.

  • Use your newly enchanted Watering Can on the 5x Green Fires in the Forgotten Lands to put them out. They’ll drop Glass as a gatherable item.
  • Talk to Fairy Godmother and report your improvements. She’ll mention how the biome needs to be more inviting, so you’ll have to decorate it. Here’s what you’ll need.
    • 3x Seating
    • 4x Outdoor Lighting
    • 25x Paths
  • You can view all of the available furniture you have in your furniture menu, Fairy Godmother’s image will appear and indicate what items you have to fulfill each request. I had to take a trip to Scrooge’s shop to restock some furniture and craft some new paths at a crafting station.
  • Talk to Fairy Godmother once you’re done decorating The Forgotten Lands. She’ll ask you to follow her. She’ll then tell you about a mysterious garden patch on the ground, not really revealing any information just yet.
