Choose the right team for you in Forza Horizon 5 Rally Adventure with the help of this guide.

Forza Horizon 5 has three teams for you to choose from when playing the Rally Adventure DLC, but which team should you choose? Unlike the base game, where you simply pick a car, your selection here matters in the long run because of the DLC’s progression system, unlockables, and race types. Here’s what you need to know about the Horizon Raptors, Apex Predators, and Grit Reapers.

What Team Should I Choose in Forza Horizon 5 Rally Adventure? Answered

After you start the Rally Adventure DLC and arrive at Sierra Nueva, you’ll need to complete three Rally-type activities in order:

  • Devil’s Pass
  • Cascada Fuerte
  • Reserva del Carrizo

When you’re done, you’ll be able to choose a team in Forza Horizon 5 Rally Adventure. Here’s what each team specializes in:

  • Horizon Raptors: Mixed surface and dirt routes.
  • Apex Predators: Rally racing on asphalt.
  • Grit Reapers: Mixed surface circuits; nighttime; any weather.

Rally Team Challenges, Activities, and Rewards

After you choose a team in Forza Horizon 5 Rally Adventure, you’ll be able to see and track their challenges and activities. These are divided into tiers, which are unlocked by earning more Reputation for the tasks you complete.

For instance, the Horizon Raptors don’t just give you the classic rally experience on off-road tracks; you’ll also have to do Danger Sign jumps. The Apex Predators, meanwhile, have you racing on asphalt, while also setting records on Speed Traps. Lastly, the side activities for the Grit Reapers consist of Drift Zones.

Rewards also come into play, such as unlockable cars. For example, completing the Cascada Fuerte race on Pro difficulty nets you the 1973 Hoonigan Volkswagen Baja Beetle Class 5/1600 Scumbug.

Each team also provides you with cosmetic options in their colors and designs.

How to Select Another Rally Team

The first team you choose in Forza Horizon 5 Rally Adventure matters for the first few hours because you’re locked to that team until you increase your Reputation. By default, you’ll need:

  • 3,500 Reputation to unlock your second team
  • An extra 3,000 to unlock your third and final team

Your main goals in the Rally Adventure DLC when it comes to teams are:

  • Reach Reputation Rank 8: Simply complete challenges as you progress.
  • Win eight races: This is dependent on the race type for a particular team.
  • Defeat the team leader in their Reputation Champion Race.
  • Once you’ve finished all three Champion Race activities, you’ll unlock the Rally Adventure Goliath Race.

Hopefully, that answers the question of which team to choose in Forza Horizon 5 Rally Adventure. For more, see our guide to getting the 2021 Rimac Nevera or our article on completing Shelby Down the Mountain. We have more Forza Horizon 5 guides here.
