For each ending in the game, you’ll earn a corresponding trophy or achievement before being sent to the start of the game’s time skip.

Obviously, there are spoilers for NieR Replicant below.

All NieR: Replicant Endings

Ending A

This is the default ending you get for finishing the game on your first playthrough. There aren’t any special requirements here. Once you see this ending, you’ll get the Call Her Back trophy or achievement when the game asks you to create a cleared saved data file.

Ending B

After getting Ending A, you can create clear saved data. On the right side of your save file, you’ll see a big letter A, indicating that you got the first ending. Now, load up your cleared save data; you will start at the second half of the game. This playthrough will add a few new cutscenes and perspectives from Kaine, Emil, and some enemies. After seeing this ending, you’ll earn the Lingering Memories trophy or achievement.

Ending C

To get Ending C, you’ll create another saved data file like you did with Ending B. You’ll see both the letters A and B on the right side of the save data.

This ending has the same cutscenes as Ending B, but in order to see Ending C, you must collect all 33 weapons in the game. The weapons carry over every time you beat the game, so you don’t have to worry about missing any of them. Be aware that you do not need to fully upgrade any of them, you just have to collect them all.

Beat the final NieR boss as usual. Once you beat it, you’ll have to fight an additional character. You’ll be given two options after winning the fight, which is to either kill this character or save this character. You want to kill this character. Do NOT choose to save the character yet, this will be the next ending.

After viewing Ending C, you’ll earn the Thank You trophy or achievement.

Ending D

After saving your data again, you should see the letter C on your save file. This playthrough for Ending D will be the exact same as the one you did for Ending C, except this time, you’ll choose the other option when defeating the final boss.

Alternatively, if you utilize multiple save slots, you can save your Ending C data in a different save slot and then boot up the previous Ending C playthrough right before you enter Shadowlord’s castle. This will help you avoid playing the entire second act of the game; you only need to play the last 30 minutes to an hour of the previous playthrough.

Once you defeat the character after the final boss again, choose to save the character. This will cause all three of your save slots to delete themselves. But don’t worry, there’s a way to get them back. After viewing this ending, you’ll get the Something Very Special trophy or achievement.

Ending E

This is a brand new ending that wasn’t in the original NieR. This ending will only activate once Ending D deletes your save data.

Start a new game in a different save slot and pick a new name that wasn’t used in your previous playthrough. Now, play the first part of the game up until your second visit to the Aerie, where you fight the boss with Kaine. After defeating the boss, you’ll know you’re on the right path when you see a cutscene of Kaine sinking into a dark abyss.

You’ll play the rest of the way through Ending E as a new character, and it should only take another hour or two. Viewing Ending E gets you the e8a898… trophy or achievement.

Additionally, viewing Ending E will also reverse the save file deletion from Ending D. However, please note that it will only bring back the one save file that was used to actually earn Ending D. If you had used the other two save slots for something else, they will not be brought back.

And those are all of the different NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139 endings!
