How to Unlock Endless World in Theatrhythm Final Bar Line

Endless World can only be unlocked after finishing the main game. Luckily, this does not require completing every single series, of which there are 29 in total. Finishing the game counts as completing the Theatrhythm Final Fantasy series questline. This series is unlocked after completing seven different series. After finishing the Theatrhythm Final Fantasy series, Endless World is added to the series quest menu.

What is Endless World?

Endless World is an infinite series questline that pulls from the entire tracklist. The structure is similar to normal series quests with a few distinct differences.

For starters, Endless World gives players three hearts. Unlike the normal series quests, you get penalized for failing a quest, which results in losing a heart. Once you lose all three hearts, your run is over and you have to start again.

Just like the normal quests, there are various nodes at which you are given the option between two or three different songs. However, you can only progress forward. Once you finish a song at any node, you’re automatically pushed forward with no ability to check the other songs or quests.

Endless World tracks three basic parameters: difficulty, stage progression, and perfect chain streak. These stats are displayed on the series quest menu before starting an Endless World run.

The stage number and difficulty are grouped together, with the listed difficulty aligning with the lowest setting you played during that run. That means if you started on expert before moving to ultimate, Endless World lists that as an expert-level run. The perfect chain streak is exactly what it sounds long, combining your perfect chain between songs, resetting once you lose a perfect chain.

Some Endless World Tips

  • Don’t change difficulty settings mid-run.
  • Make sure you have at least one of each class at level 99 .
  • Shoulder buttons or triggers are highly recommended once songs start reaching a difficulty level of 7 or above.
  • All diagonal slide triggers can be activated by flicking in the nearest cardinal direction.
  • All inverted dual slide triggers can be activated by flicking the sticks in opposite directions regardless of whether the trigger shows inward or outward arrows.
  • Increasing the trigger speed to anywhere between 1.1 and 1.3 can help with timing triggers that are bunched too close together on ultimate and supreme tracks.
