This guide will provide you with the possible connection error lost fix for Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands. In most cases, this would be a problem with the server connectivity, and at other times you may be simply having trouble with your accounts.

Check Server Status

Every online game that has a huge success at launch may experience server crashes in one way or another. This prevents many players from connecting online and playing with others.

The developer is currently working hard to fix this issue, which is stated in their latest tweet:

If you can’t connect to the multiplayer game, then be sure to check the server status on the official SHiFT Twitter page. Unfortunately, there is nothing else you can do until this problem gets eliminated on the developer’s side.

Avoid Cross-Platform Play

At other times, players may be able to join multiplayer sessions, but get disconnected in the process. This usually happens to players who try to play across different platforms.

Since SHiFT servers are known for being unstable at cross-platform play, it is highly recommended to connect to the multiplayer sessions with players who use the same platforms, at least for the time being.

PC players are also recommended to utilize LAN sessions instead of normal online mode. Here’s how you can do this to make your connection more stable:

  1. Download and install free Radmin app
  2. Go to “Network” menu
  3. Select “Create New Network” option
  4. The admin of your session should now create a new session
  5. Start Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands
  6. Go to “Settings” menu
  7. Select “LAN Play” option
  8. Join the LAN session created by your admin previously

Some console players also report that it is possible to avoid disconnections between different platforms if the session is created by the console users, letting the PC users simply to join in. However, there could be lags taking place in the process.

There is also a possibility of mismanaged SHiFT and platform accounts that may not be linked properly, and thus create problems for the cross-platform multiplayer connectivity.

If you want to create a new SHiFT account, then follow these steps:

  1. Go to official SHiFT website
  2. Select “Create New Account” feature
  3. Enter your e-mail and password
  4. Alternatively, sign up using one of your your existing platform accounts

Then, you need to link your accounts using the following procedure:

  1. Start Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands
  2. Go to “Social” menu
  3. Select “SHiFT” option
  4. Enable the “Link Account” option
  5. Copy the unique numerical code from the screen
  6. Go to SHiFT Linked Gaming webpage
  7. Paste the copied unique code into your browser

Restart Your Game

Lastly, the developer has been implementing some updates to the netcode recently, and thus has been advising all players trying to connect to SHiFT servers to restart their game.

Also, be sure to avoid playing during the peak hours, when SHiFT servers are most likely having the hardest time processing new players. This means that you should try connecting either before 11 A.M. or after 5 P.M. local time.
