With the highly anticipated release of Diablo 4, we finally know who voices Lorath Nahr.

Lorath Nahr is returning in Diablo 4, taking on a much more central role than he held in the franchise’s previous title, Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls. Now that Lorath Nahr is being placed at the forefront of the story in Diablo 4, many wonder who voices the returning character. Let’s cover what we know about Lorath Nahr and the character’s voice actor.

Who Voices Lorath Nahr in Diablo 4?

With the long-awaited release of Diablo 4 on June 6, it has now been confirmed that Ralph Ineson voices Lorath Nahr. While it was previously assumed that Yuri Lowenthal had reprised his role as the returning character following his role in Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls, it’s exciting to finally put a face to Lorath Nahr in the new installment.

In addition to this role, Ineson has previously voiced the character of Lorath Nahr in the TV series Book of Lorath. However, Ineson has a solid amount of projects under his belt, including some widely recognized sci-fi, fantasy, and horror films. Ineson has played parts in Guardians of the Galaxy, Star Wars: the Last Jedi, and the final three installments of the Harry Potter film series. Moreover, the English actor is particularly favored by director Robert Eggers, appearing in his acclaimed films The Witch and The Northman.

Who is Lorath Nahr?

Lorath Nahr is a human character in the Diablo franchise, first introduced in Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls. After functioning as an NPC and narrator of journal entries in Reaper of Souls, Lorath now holds a greater role as a central character in Diablo 4.

Represented by the Hermit card in The Sanctuary Tarot Card and Guide Deck, Lorath Nahr is said to be a faithful character who is assumed to be skilled with martial weapons and magic.

Fans of the Diablo franchise will become much more familiar with Lorath’s character with the release of Diablo 4 beta and the full game. For more on Diablo 4, check out our collection of news and guides at GameSkinny.
