A couple of weeks ago, I wrote an article about the Kickstarter that Video Games Live is doing for their third album, “Level 3”. Since then, there have been a few updates.
Firstly (and probably most importantly), they are getting closer to their goal of $250,000. Currently, 3,918 backers have donated a total of $207,797. That means they’re about 83% of the way to meeting their goal. Okay, it’s actually 83.1188%, but, rounding! However, there are only 3 days left to donate. So, spread the word like crazy!
But wait, there’s more!
At the time of my original article, only Monkey Island had been confirmed. Since then, Street Fighter II, Skyrim, Journey, Shadow of the Colossus, Beyond Good and Evil, Tetris Opera, and Silent Hill 2 have also been confirmed. Mock-ups and videos of pervious performances of music from these games are available on the Kickstarter page.
Guys, this has the potential to be something awesome. Tell all of your friends! Bombard them on every social media site you use. Dig the spare change out of your pockets and from under the cushions on your couch. We can make this happen!
