Although it’s been less than 24 hours since the highly anticipated first person shooter Destiny has been released, there have already been max level players spotted throughout the online gameplay.

There have also been reports of seeing players already leveling up through the 20s. The Australian servers the game uses went live at midnight, so the speculation is that these max players are either Bungie employees,  or Australian gamers who have been grinding up a storm.

This image, via Kotaku, is of a level 26 Destiny character whose profile indicated he/she is a Bungie employee.

Knowing exactly how much anticipation there was for Destiny, it comes as no shock to me that gamers are quickly rising through the ranks, and they will continue to do so throughout the coming days.

Destiny’s servers seem to be handling the high volume of players very well. Servers are available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360. Gamers who purchased a last-generation version of Destiny digitally will get the new generation version for free, announced by Bungie and Activision via their digital upgrade program.

Born a gamer, living a gamers life, and will die a gamer. I vividly recall playing Mortal Kombat 1 for the first time, I just happened to be 4 years old. Thankfully I didn't grow up to become a psycho who rips peoples hearts out, I grew up to be a writer, which is significantly less violent. However In my spare time I do rip people's hearts out via my Xbox 360 or PlayStation 4. A down to earth college student looking to get his start in video game writing.
