Dota 2 TI5: Group stage Day 3 in a nutshell

A short roundup of Dota 2 The International Group Stage Day 3.

The 3rd day of Dota 2 The International group stage delivered tons of quality games to watch. As the group stage will soon to be finished, all teams must do their best to obtain points quickly.

Here is the Dota 2 The International group stage Day 3 recap:

Day 3 opened with LGD versus Secret, the two elite teams from Group A. Both teams deliver clean drafts and plays, which resulted in a 1-1 draw. Cloud 9 crushed Na'Vi in a remorseless fashion; Na'Vi continue their losing streak as Cloud 9 humiliates them in 0-2 lost.

Labeled as the future of Chinese Dota, wild card winners CDEC continue their rampage in Group B. Many Dota 2 fans were amazed as CDEC continue to show their intensely aggressive playstyle. They dominated both their games with fellow Chinese teams, Newbee (the TI4 Champions) and VG (another top team from China).

Evil Geniuses (EG) is Day 3's biggest loser as they draw their match against EHOME and Empire. EG is scheduled to battle with CDEC tomorrow, this is very interesting match: how will a Western team counter the Eastern rising star CDEC?

I wonder if CDEC will carry this success into the main event, very surprise by their performance in the group stages, maybe they are this years Newbee.

We hope they maintain their current form. I think a Western team can halt CDEC and EG will beat them
