Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 is out tomorrow, February 23rd for those in North America, while people in Europe will have to wait until February 25th. This third-person shooter/tower defense hybrid developed by PopCap Games and published by Electronic Arts is the sequel to comedic shooter with great mechanics that no one knew they wanted.
This Plants vs. Zombies spin-off enhances the 24- player multiplayer action of the first with even more zombies, plants, and game modes. There are over 100 playable characters divided among 14 classes. You can play as any of these and battle across 12 maps layered with hidden paths and secrets giving you the edge in battle. In addition, 4-player co-op makes a return with split-screen support.
EA’s official site for Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 rewards its player base by giving free content and exclusive rewards as they rank up in the game. Customization options, consumables, characters, and more will be unlocked the more you play the game.
People who pre-ordered will receive exclusive cosmetics and the Grass Effect Z7-Mech.
Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 will retail for $59.99 on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
