Police have stated that Blake and her children Zachary and Amon (aged 8 and 4 respectively), suffered fatal injuries to the neck and head and there had been significant attempts to conceal the bodies after the murders had been committed.

They were reported missing on the 16th of December last year, three days after they had last been seen. Forensic specialists were called in to examine the family home on the 4th of January, where they found the bodies during excavations in the garden two days later.

Police are seeking Blake’s suspected partner, Arthur Simpson-Kent, looking for a connection to the murders, and are appealing for any information about his movements. It is believed, however, that he may have already left the UK and that he is currently in Ghana.

Sian Blake was also famous for her role in the BBC soap EastEnders and has performed in a number of smaller television roles.
