Are you unfamiliar with the game? Don’t Starve is an action-adventure video game created by indie company Klei Entertainment which drops you in a giant unforgiving wilderness with one simple objective: survive.

The main character you play as is Wilson, a courageous scientist who has been trapped by a demon and transported to a shadowy wilderness world. Players must learn to exploit their environments and resources as well as any abilities the several characters might possess in order to survive the rough territory ahead of them. For example: Wilson, the default character, grows a sweet beard which helps keep warm during winter time.

The game can go on forever as long as you don’t starve, hence the title.

Players can now enjoy the likes of Don’t Starve: Giant Edition on the go with its Vita release. The Giant Edition includes the original Don’t Starve, as well as its first expansion The Reign of Giants which added new characters, seasons, creatures, biomes, and other challenges to Don’t Starve.

Klei Entertainment has announced another expansion as well called Don’t Starve Together, which will finally bring multiplayer into the mix. Although there is no release date yet, players can rejoice at the fact that it will be a free addition to the game if they already purchased Don’t Starve.

Born a gamer, living a gamers life, and will die a gamer. I vividly recall playing Mortal Kombat 1 for the first time, I just happened to be 4 years old. Thankfully I didn't grow up to become a psycho who rips peoples hearts out, I grew up to be a writer, which is significantly less violent. However In my spare time I do rip people's hearts out via my Xbox 360 or PlayStation 4. A down to earth college student looking to get his start in video game writing.
