King of Seas Switch and Xbox Demos Live Now, No Booty Required

The King of Seas demo is invading Nintendo Switch and Xbox One starting today.

3D Clouds announced King of Seas‘ release date and a Steam demo not long ago, and the swashbuckling fun doesn’t end there. The pirate RPG also has a demo for Nintendo Switch and Xbox One that is live now on the Switch eShop and Xbox Store. As always, the demos are free, so your hard-earned booty is safe — for now.

King of Seas follows a merry band of pirates as they scour the world in search of treasure that was stolen from them. The world is always changing, but not because it’s a metaphysical mystery.

It’s because the world of King of Seas is procedurally generated, so no adventure will be the same twice.

That’s true on a deeper level as well. King of Seas reacts to every choice you make, be it how you deal with settlements or how strong you get as you sail along. With a complex navigation system and extensive ship customization, it’s no wonder we called it a “swashbuckling adventure… with significant potential” in our King of Seas preview.
