Pinsir, a Bug-type Pokémon, will also be Level 50 with the ability Hyper Cutter or Mold Breaker. Its nature will be Adamant with the moves: X-Scissor, Earthquake, Stone Edge, and Return. Pinsir will be available to those with a copy of Pokémon Y.

The steps to receive your Pokémon are as follows, according to the Pokémon website:

  1. Connect your system in the Nintendo 3DS family to the Internet.

  2. Select MYSTERY GIFT on the main menu.

  3. Select RECEIVE GIFT, then YES.

  4. Select GET VIA INTERNET, then YES.

  5. Watch as you receive Heracross (Pokémon X) or Pinsir (Pokémon Y)!

  6. Speak to the delivery girl in any Pokémon Center to add Heracross or Pinsir to your party.

  7. Be sure to save your game!

But wait, there’s more! Starting August 18th, participating GameStop stores will be giving away Mega Stones for these Pokémon (while supplies last). Mark that down on your calendar so your new Pinsir and/or Heracross can reach their full potential in battle. Giveaways, Mega Evolutions, and even new games! What a year for Pokémon fans. And remember, Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire release on November 21st, 2014.

Hello! I'm Val, a 23 year old college graduate. I've been interested in video games since I was very young, Pokemon being my first (and constant) love. Along the years I have become attached to RPGs and adventure games. I play League periodically (not well), but apart from that, I don't play anything online nor competitively (Though I was a frequent TPP player and I've logged onto GTA Online a few times...). I tend to prefer solo games, unless it's with people in the same room. In those cases, Mario Party, Little Big Planet, Quake, and more, all the way! I am really into anime and try to keep up with the new ones season by season (so many). And yeah I have no idea if I'm writing this right, but thank you for reading!
