Plague Inc.: Evolved

Become a deadly plague that annihilates the human race from the face of the Earth.

Plague Inc: Evolved is a small indie strategy game that descends from its pathogenic predecessor (Flash game version) with the same name. Your goal is simple: kill all humans on the face of the Planet, through any means necessary, before anyone can invent a cure against you! The game is still in development at the moment, but it does have enough playable content for those people who love World Domination challenges.

Ndemic Creations Studio developed and incubated Plague Inc: Evolved in their labs as a result of a rigorous feedback received from 25 million players infected by the previous Plague Inc game.

There aren’t many game options to talk about, since most are very basic and offer a modest UI interaction. The game works great on most gaming platforms and is also available for media devices.

The game theme song is actually very intriguing and creates a captivating atmosphere as you spread death over the World.

Becoming a Plague

At the moment there are only 7 diseases available and to play with all of them, you have to unlock them one by one. Every time you succeed in exterminating the Earth population, a new pathogen is available with a new perk that will give a unique buff at the beginning of the map.

All pathogens have special attributes and vulnerabilities. This means that you have to adapt to each situation to make sure you can spread from “Patient Zero” to the last healthy person on the Globe.

Biomes play a great role in Plague Inc. because all plagues react in a different way in a hot or humid environment. This is also the reason most players love to start their game in India or Madagascar, as the conditions are perfect for incubating and spreading your nefarious infections. The hardest area to reach is Greenland, as cold weather will slow your progress and you could lose valuable time while being exposed to a cure.

Staying Alive

The first thing you need to do, after you infect your first victim, is to keep a low profile. Killing people too fast will result in finding a cure faster and not being to spread as widely, since some healthy people might escape and isolate themselves from the disease.

Fortunately, the game does give us a helping hand by popping up DNA balloons on the map every time you infect a new area. Clicking them will give you a small amount of points that you can invest in upgrades to better survive and spread all over the Globe.

The efficiency of your infestation is based on the Infectivity, Severity and Lethality of your disease. In order to enforce this powers, you can invest points in Transmission (the ways you can reach healthy hosts), Symptoms (lethal/non-lethal effects of your plague) and Abilities (special buffs and resistance to harsh biomes and antidotes).

The best approach to win, in Plague Inc.: Evolves, is to spread all over the world as fast as possible without causing any deaths–and then, with the accumulate points, unleash “Hell on Earth.”

The Last Man Standing

Plague Inc.: Evolves  is an addictive epidemic simulation game that infects you with tons of fun as you take the form of a unstoppable virus that will obliterate the human race.

It is a light single-player indie game that will make you replay it over-and-over again, especially as new updates are release and you can evolve into a true deadly weapon.
