Bright Memory Infinite: How to Use Special Ammo

Special ammo can help give you an advantage against the horde of enemies in Bright Memory Infinite, so here's how to find and use it.

Finding and Using Special Ammo in Bright Memory Infinite

There are four different guns available in Bright Memory Infinite, and each one has a particular type of special ammo:

  • The assault rifle has homing bullets
  • The shotgun an incendiary blast
  • The pistol an explosive shot
  • The sniper rifle sticky grenades

To switch firing modes all you need to do is hit the corresponding key or button control; the default key on PC is B, while the default on the controller is up on the D-pad.

The catch, of course, is that you have to have special ammo in order to use it, and the only way to do that is by finding it scattered throughout the environment.

You’ll want to keep an eye out for ammo boxes lying around. You can usually expect to find these before and after big battles, and they’re generally easy to spot as they shine to make them easier to pick out. Unfortunately, there’s no other way to restore your special ammo.

It’s also important to point out that you can make special ammo even more effective by purchasing upgrades in the Skill Enhancements System, with each upgrade costing one Reliquary. These collectibles are also found scattered around the game’s environment.
