This guide will show you how to increase Faith and Brave, two of the most important stats in the game.

What Are Faith and Brave in War of the Visions?

Each character has both Faith and Brave stats, but not each of them needs them to be equally strong.

Faith is more important for magic casters because Faith:

  • Increases the amount of damage and healing magic abilities
  • Increases the rate of counter-magic abilities
  • Increases the chance of inflicting a status effect

Brave is more important for physical characters because Brave:

  • Increases the amount of damage dealt by raw physical attacks
  • Increases the rate of physical counter-attacks

If Brave drops below 10, the character will become extremely vulnerable to physical damage.

How to Increase Brave

The best way to increase your Brave stat is to join a guild and put your physical characters into the Barracks, which becomes available right after you sign up for any of the guilds available in the game.

By staying in the Barracks, your characters will automatically increase their Brave stat. However, your Faith stat will decrease accordingly. That’s why you should never put your mages into the Barracks unless their Brave stat is getting below 10 points.

Follow these steps to enter the Barracks:

  1. Open the game menu
  2. Select the Guild tab
  3. Enter the Barracks

Barracks have a limited number of slots, so pick only the best physical characters. Otherwise, build and upgrade the Kirin Stone Statue in order to unlock more slots for your other characters.

How to Increase Faith

Currently, the global server offers only one way of increasing Faith. This can be achieved with the help of the Cheer ability, which is available only to the character Fina.

Fina is a White Mage that can unlock Cheer at Level 3, so you’re getting it pretty early in the campaign.

Later the Faith counter will be added to the Barracks, and players will be able to choose which stats they want to increase. As of now, this option is only available at the Japanese server.
