Battlefield Hardline Beta Download Available Now

Beta signups and downloads now available, limited number of spots available!

Battlefield Hardline is the next game in the Battlefield series, generating some reserved hype - reserved because of the less than exciting turn out of Battlefield 4.

The trailer for Hardline leaked a few days before EA's conference at E3 today. The presentation provided news that the beta is now available for download.

Beta Exclusively for PC and PS4

However, the closed beta is available only to those who own a copy of Battlefield 4 on either the PlayStation 4 or PC. EA promises that the game will run at 1080p resolution and 60 frames per second on both versions. As with any closed beta there are a limited number of spots so it's best to sign up sooner rather than later.

You can sign up for the beta at the Battlefield official website and remember this is only if you have a PS4 or PC version of Battlefield 4

For those of you who own Xbox One, Xbox 360, or PS3 versions of Battlefield 4, you can still sign up on the beta site to receive launch day items. Some of the items include weapon camo/skin, a unique dog tag, and other additional content in lieu of the beta.

Only complaints I've heard about hardline are people who can't get into the beta. Am I the only one who recognizes this "game" amounts to nothing more than a DLC for BF4, but with a full price tag.

They prop this up as a separate title with a different developer yet DICE still has their hands in this game, and it plays 100% identical to BF4 from the helicopters (littlebird) to the server crashes (haha had to put that in)

Haha I'm disappointed to hear that there are still crashes but I'm actually not surprised if I'm being completely honest. I hope they take the beta feedback seriously this time around and don't release an even worse game than before. Like the BF4 beta was 10x better than the actual game itself and that's just wrong lol

Sadly the multiplayer of Hardline is exactly BF4, so any outstanding issues with BF4 will exist in Hardline, plus any new problems they conjured up with the modifications done.

I can't completely give hardline a hard time (that sounds weird) as it does have a singleplayer which is done by a different developer than DICE. However those in it for the multiplayer are getting same game which the multiplayer is done by DICE.

Not that anything being done by DICE is a bad thing because they can make quality games. BF4 is a beautiful game and now that all the quirks are ironed out it makes it for a fun experience. Hardline looks both fun and beautiful, but I know I won't play the single player, so I'm not paying full price for what amounts to high end DLC. I'll wait until a sale, plus I still have two DLC's for BF4 to come haha.

One last note, I miss the days when EA gave DICE proper time to complete their games.
