Four More Games Now Backwards Compatible for Xbox One
Backwards compatibility is one of the few features that sets the Xbox One apart from the PlayStation 4, and today Microsoft added four more titles to the ever-expanding library of backwards compatible games.
First and probably foremost is the popular strategy game, XCOM: Enemy Within. Enemy Within is the expanded version of XCOM: Enemy Unknown, which itself is one of June's Xbox 360 Games with Gold offerings. With this week's news that XCOM 2 will be coming to consoles in September, now seems like the perfect time for interested players to jump into the first game.
The other titles include Foul Play, a charming side-scrolling beat 'em up with a lot of character and personality, as well as Sega Bass Fishing, which may interest the sportsmen (and women) out there. Lastly, there's Monopoly Plus, a digital version of the classic board game that's a great fit for the entire family.
As the longest days of summer loom on the horizon, and E3 beckons next week, there's a good chance that not very many games will be coming out for a while -- making these newest additions to the Xbox One backwards compatible library a good opportunity to find some new, fun gaming experiences in the meantime.
