Corsair Launches Corsair Gaming with RGB Keyboards, Mice and Headsets

Corsair launches their new division: Corsair Gaming, dedicated to creating hardware for gamers.

Corsair is not new to the world of PC gaming and for 20 years have produced components and peripherals for PC’s. Last week however, they launched their new division: Corsair Gaming. This division is targeting the peripheral market for elite PC gamers through products like mice, keyboards and headsets.

Keyboards are the primary focus on this PC gaming push, with the release of the RGB K95, K70, and K65. Reviewers have pointed to the K70 being based off the bones of the Corsair Vengeance K70, the Vengeance moniker being discarded with the new Corsair Gaming branding. All three keyboards are made with an exclusive partnership with German brand Cherry and feature Cherry MX RGB mechanical key switches as well as self-cleaning, corrosion proof mechanical contacts.

The flash with these keyboards is in the customizable macros and lighting effects, which can be focused on single or groups of keys.

With the target audience set on high end PC consumers, the prices are fairly high and will run you $189-169. The K65 will be a part of an exclusive promotion with Best Buy and will be available for $149.

Corsair Gaming is also releasing their own gaming mouse, the M65. The M65 was previously released under the Vengeance moniker and is currently available.

Advertised features are a “gaming grade” laser system and sniper button — which is one of 8 programmable buttons, as well as Omron switches that are tested for 2 million clicks and three zone backlighting.

The mouse comes in two colors (black and white) and costs $69.

Additionally, Corsair has two headsets (the H2100 & H1500) feature Dolby 7.1 surround sound in both wireless and wired options. These headsets retail for $79.99 and $99.99.

The keyboards, mice and headsets are currently available through Corsair or Best Buy.
