What is Rusty’s Retirement?

Rusty’s Retirement is a pixelated farming experience that has everything that simulation fans love. You can build up your own farm, planting crops and using them to craft other goods like Bio-fuel, and beyond. You can even hire robotic farmhands to help out with some of the work. The fresh twist to this experience is that you can minimize the game whenever you want to the bottom of your screen.

When minimized, the game will appear as a thin but still playable strip at the bottom of the screen. It works like an overlay over the top of any other browser on your computer, so you can be working on something else while the game continues running.

You can even resize this bar to your liking by using your up and down arrows, so it doesn’t block anything important in the browsers underneath. This gives a new meaning to idle game and is a great solution for players that don’t always have the time to grind away tasks.

Rusty’s Retirement is arriving on April 26 and will be available on Steam. Thankfully, it will also be super affordable, only costing around $6.99, and with a 10% discount at launch. Since Rusty’s Retirement caters to PCs with its minimizing feature, it’s not likely to appear on any other platforms.

Head to Steam to wishlist the game now and stay tuned for the launch! Or, if you’re on Mac, try out the demo and see how you like it. This could be the perfect game for all us busy bees out there.
