Good games to pick up this week.

Another eventful week has passed us again. This week has blessed us with a massive array of new games to drain our minds into. There seems to be a game for every fan of every genre.

Dragon Age: Inquisition

I have not picked this one up yet, although seriously contemplating it. Dragon Age 2 discouraged me a bit and has made me hesitant to purchase Inquisition. I can’t deny though, the game looks amazing. The reviews for this RPG are unreal. From what I can tell the game has a good amount of content in it making it worth an early buy. BioWare doesn’t seem to drop the ball on this next installment of the Dragon Age realm

Far Cry 4

The Far Cry series was never something near and dear to me; however I will not tear the game down. The people who put hard work and effort into making the game do a great job. This is a “Triple A” title without any questions. Fans of the series should be quick to snag this one of the shelf and be sure to drop some time in it over the weekend.

Super Smash Bros Wii U

Super Smash Bros. has been out for a little bit on the DS. However those of us that love the home console gameplay will be satisfied. Super Smash Bros will be great fun on the Wii U and give the owners another reason to put in some long hours of gameplay over the weekend.

I will be playing Super Smash Bros and if all goes well maybe some Dragon Age Inquisition this weekend. I am backlogged with a couple of games though and wouldn’t mind finishing Shadow of Mordor; it seems as though that keeps getting pushed back more and more. What will you be playing this weekend?

Weekly Weekend Round-Up

Now that the weekend is upon us, here are a few suggestions for what games to tackle.

Another week of work is behind us. That means it’s time for another weekend of relaxation and gaming. This week has some highly anticipated games, none of which I will be playing. However, there is bound to be something on this list to meet most people’s tastes.

Recommended Videos

Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham

This title from Warner Brothers is sure to have enough content to fill a weekend. These games, although repetitive, never seem dull. They give the player enough to stay busy for a good amount of time. LEGO isn’t really my forte, but this game surely has a spot on a lot of gamers’ watchlists.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection

Halo MCC is another massive launch. This game was well worth the wait for most players that have an Xbox One. They can finally play on the Halo 2 servers again. They can also relive those awesome sticky grenade kills of all the Halo series, both online and off.

Assassin’s Creed: Unity Rogue

Both these games are already a huge success. The Assassin’s Creed series is able to put out a game every year. Each year they do it, players claim that the new game is the best in the series, and say it’s so unreal how amazing the game is.

The games that launched this week are going to be more than enough to fill two days of down time. Personally, I am still going through Lords of The Fallen and loving every bit of it.

Weekly Weekend Round-Up

Games to get lost in over the short weekend.

Another weekend is upon us, forget about work and start the fourteen hour gaming sessions. Don’t forget about the massive amounts of sugary drinks, Monsters, Red Bulls, and Mountain Dews. Oh yes and a stereotypical gamers favorite dinner, pizza. With weekends it is always hard to say what we will be playing or even to get an idea of what to play. This will narrow down a couple of titles that are available that might be a good idea.

Microsoft has added Volgarr The Viking to the games with gold program on Xbox One. This is a no brainer for gamers that have already adopted the Xbox One with Xbox Live Gold subscriptions. The game is free, plus given the difficulty of the game those that set out to complete the game will definitely have hours wrapped up into attempting the frustrating enemies. Although it would be difficult to spend the entire weekend playing this it is worth the install; after all the price is right, FREE!

We touched on Microsoft’s addition to free game the catalogue now getting to Sony’s. The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth was added Tuesday to the Playstation 4 Playstation Plus game library. Although I have yet to put any time into this game I have looked forward to this Smash TV style dungeon crawler. Edmund McMillen’s art style is outstanding and this game really shows some of his best work. I have watched gameplay footage and I could see where this would take up a good part of the weekend, plus it too is FREE!

Lastly, we have Call of Duty:  Advanced Warfare. This game is highly renounced as everyone already knows. If you have the extra cash and are looking for a game to kill time, and players, this would be what you are after. The Call of Duty series needs no introduction and no clamoring. It’s already made a name for itself and players can finally have the all night love session with Advanced Warfare that they have waited for. Forget about food, forget about bathroom breaks, and forget about work start the all night shooting sessions.

These are newly released games that will take up some of the weekend, but like me I am sure others will be playing something else. These titles are just a small glimpse of what gamers will be enjoying. What games will you be playing this weekend? (Comment Below)
