As many gamers are aware, Angry Birds is now a staple in most gamer’s lives. Whether you’re 5, or 55, there is a good chance you’ve played at least one round of the addicting game. Whether it’s on the Xbox360 or your iPhone, the game is widely available, and further, widely popular. It’s just so addicting to knock those little green pigs over and get points and other goodies. But were you aware that Angry Birds isn’t available on all consoles?
Luckily for those with a Wii and an itch for Angry Birds, that is about to change. Activision has announced that the Angry Birds Trilogy will be released on both Wii and Wii U on August 16th. Gamers, rejoice!
The Wii U version offers play on either the TV or on the touchscreen, which gives players more variety. And of course the Wii U is suited very well to play a game that originated from an iOS system.
Everything from the original angry birds will be included in the Wii version. Players will be able to choose from Angry Birds, Angry Birds Seasons and Angry Birds Rio. There are also 19 exclusive console episodes that will be included in this new Wii version.
