Conan O’Brien Plays Tomb Raider

To honor my very first pre-order, Conan unknowingly dedicated this review to me (in my mind).

Let’s face it.

Most of us are broke.

Well, at least I am. All of the time. My money burns me so I have to throw it at things.

When I was in college, I didn’t have the extra money to just toss at pre-orders and games I wanted. Besides the rage-induced drunken attempts at raiding in Cataclysm, this is the key reason why I stopped playing WoW. That shit adds up quick.

Well, I graduated almost a full calendar year ago, and am employed. Which means my paycheck burns me and gets thrown at things–like a Tomb Raider pre-order!

Plus I get fancy stuff from Steam because everyone pre-ordered before I did and unlocked all the rewards. So get it from Steam if you decide to pre-order. I ended up with the basic pack since digital art books and soundtracks aren’t terribly important to me. But I digress.

Unknowingly, Conan dedicated his review of Tomb Raider to me (at least in my mind he did) in honor of my first self-funded pre-order. Debatable dedication aside, his Clueless Gamer review of Lara had me cracking up at my desk.

This game releases to the PC, Xbox 360, PS3 and my Steam account on March 5th. I will be doing a full playthrough shortly thereafter, so stay tuned!
