This year Margaret Krohn of Planetside 2 is up for a Dragon Slayer Award for Best Community Manager.
Margaret Krohn is not just a community manager for Planetside 2, she’s also a game developer, whose work included the infantry weapon systems on Planetside 2, and previously on world content for Free Realms.
As GS editor Rothalack put it, “If you post things on Reddit, Facebook, Twitter or their forums with PlanetSide 2 feedback or commentary, she is watching.” Margaret has over 13,000 followers on Twitter, a YouTube channel that she regularly posts on, and an active G+ presence.
Margaret is relatively new to the gaming scene, but has been an active gamer for years. She was an active player of the original Planetside, and continues to play today. “I’m a huge gamer, so I play a lot of games in my free time, at least when I can manage to find free time that doesn’t involve sleeping and eating.”
Margaret is appreciated and well loved by her community, and it’s easy to see why she was nominated for Community Manager.
