Super Smash Bros. for Wii U can be both an infuriating and hilarious game. It all depends on how you approach it. Let’s-play channel GrumpOut recently indulged in the game’s humor as part of its Game Grumps web series on YouTube. GrumpOut looked at the game and sat that something was missing from the score screen after a match ends. You see the winner up front, but you also get to see the losers clapping for the winner. However, in the actual game, there are no sounds for the clapping.

Game Grumps took the time to create sounds for each character. This isn’t just limited to recordings of hands clapping together, but includes additional sounds to make it more realistic. For example, Wario doesn’t just constantly clap, as he also snarls towards the opponent. Samus only has one hand, meaning that her clap is mostly just her hitting her arm cannon. Many of the added sound effects may feel boring, but the occasional wild cards such as MegaMan’s empty tin hands really sets this video over the top.
