Get the look

Dromaru the Gladiator is wearing:

  • Barbaric Helm
  • Nobleman’s Pauldrons
  • Heart of Koda
  • Priory Gauntlets
  • Fur of Koda
  • Ascalonian Greaves

Colours: Celestial and Midnight Ice

I was looking for a reason to use the Priory Gauntlets in a set and found they went really well with Heart of Koda (took a while to find a good match). Made a few other sets for my warrior, but I particularly like this one best.

This was the first set I had ever build, I focused mostly on getting the look to match with my shield. I put this set together using:

  • Flame Legion Helm
  • Flame Legion Pauldrons
  • Draconic Coat
  • Nobleman’s Gauntlets
  • Draconic Legs
  • Paws of Koda
  • Golden Sword
  • Lionguard Shield

Colours: Dijon and Evening Red

Dark Knight’s Set

I use this set as my Knight’s set. I could never quite bring myself to fully transmute my arah set (with the exception of the shoulders), so I decided to dye armour to go with my Ghastly Grinning Shield. Coincidentally the second dye I chose for this set matched it my Jade Axe.

For the most part this set uses Arah gear with T2 shoulders.

Colours: Midnight Ice and Evergreen

Berzerker’s Set

Usually when I build a set it revolves around one piece of armour I like then it branches off from there. With this set I started with the leggings, I had been looking for a reason to use them. When I gathered my Zerkers set, I wanted something that looked battle ready.

As a result I ended up mixing:

  • T2 Human Cultural Avenger’s Helm
  • T2 Human Cultural Avenger’s Gauntlets
  • Vigil Breastplate
  • Vigil Boots
  • Heavy Travelen Leggings (Can be purchased in WvW or Karma Vendor)
  • Caer Pauldrons (Can be purchased in WvW or Karma Vendor)

Colours: Ash and Midnight Sky

Heavy Soldier’s Set

I recently finished for use with my heavy arms build. I was going for a look at that, for lack of a better word, looked heavy. For this set I wanted to stay away from leggings that had a skirt/cape on the back, as most tend to in this game. I debated between the Dark Pauldrons of the Radiant Mantle (once it’s available of course), but felt the pauldrons went better in terms of look and feel. This set consists of:

  • Dark Helm
  • Dark Pauldrons
  • Dark Coat
  • Radiant Vambraces
  • Nobleman’s Legguards
  • Pit Fighter’s Greaves

Colours: Burnish Steel, Graphite (on the inside of the coat and leggings) and Sapphire

Mesmerizing Buckaneer

Also, here’s my Mesmer, Jrom.

Since beta, I was always looking for a pirate type look with my Mesmer. Pretty much just used T2 human cultural the starter pants and the Halloween event shoulders Deathly Mantle.
