CorridorDigital made a short Legend of Zelda action film. It pits Link in the classic struggle against his dark shadow self.
If you are not a fan of the series, back when, the Ocarina of Time had this excruciatingly difficult level called the Water Temple. In fact, it has become infamous online for being so ridiculously hard. Anyways, Dark Link appears as a mini-boss in a battle like no other.
The fight is truly epic because Link’s own strength it turned against himself. It is the ultimate challenge, facing your dark reflection and exploiting your own weaknesses.
It has become a staple in many games over the years, (with Darksiders being the most recent one in memory) that comes at a the crux in a characters main story. The whole, fighting against yourself literary trope, becoming a tangible struggle.
The film is shorter than most movies CorridorDigital creates, but still has the great style and digital effects their films are known for.
