“Now I am become Death, the destroyer of worlds.”

This article is over 11 years old and may contain outdated information

Waking cold and wet my head swimming, still in a daze I ran my claws through my fur it felt matted and sticky. Glancing down at my paws the realisation I was bathed in blood but not mine hit me, as the memories came flooding back of the ghost’s from the dammed city of Ascalon ambushing my fahrar as we slept. The terror of watching my best friend Sahar’s head slip from her shoulders under a cursed ghost’s blade moments before the hammer blow knocked me into blackness.
I locked eyes with Sahar but instead of the warm smiling eyes I was accustomed to all I saw was cold death from her decapitated head lying in a pile of my butchered fahrar.
The sound of the ghost’s gloating froze me. Staring into her eyes desperate to have her smile lighten my heart one last time. As I listened to them dragging corpses onto the pile while joking about the vermin they exterminated, the freezing terror subsided and the white hot rage filled its void. Sahar’s eye flicked to life with a sickly green fire followed by the rest of the pile as I let my rage flow out of me and animate the dead flesh of my fallen comrades into my dark army of vengeance. After avenging there murder’s my fahrar and I walked back to the Black Citadel for the last time even though I was the only one left alive. Now I am a gladium, death my only companion, and vengeance is my only gift.

I have tried to make characters that use races other than the most eye candy/skanky many times and failed. When I set out to make this Charr Necromancer with the idea of being as ferocious and grotesque as possible he truly sprang to life for me. When I play him I feel myself drawn into the story like never before. His difficult experience floods into my thoughts and powers the desisions I now make for him. I feel that this is one of the best characters I have ever made and I am really happy with how his armor combo worked out.

Armor:

  • Head – Horns of the Dragon
  • Shoulders – Corrupted Orrian Mantle
  • Chest – Enduring Garb
  • Gloves – Fused Gauntlets
  • Legs – Corrupted Orrian Pants
  • Shoes – Flame Legion Shoes
  • Back – Sclerite Karka shell
