Pokemon Fan Trolls Prayer Hotline with Team Rocket Mantra

Trolling and Pokemon are two concepts that have gone hand in hand ever since we realized that Ekans was just “snake” spelled backwards.

Whether you’re using Pokemon pick-up lines (If I were a Milktank, I’d use ATTRACT on you) or using silly Pokemon in competitive battles, there is a wide spectrum of Pokemon troll techniques. However, none of them come close to this one. 

YouTube user SpewInThis posted a video of a man, identifying himself as Ash, calling into a toll-free prayer hotline and reciting the Team Rocket mantra. Take a look. 

Twitch Plays Pokemon introduced us to the worship of Omanyte, so perhaps it’s only fitting that we gain more religious overtones to the series from the original trainer himself. 

Regardless, this is one epic prank for all of Poke-kind. It’s really hard to get over how well the caller fooled the gals on the hotline. You’ve done your fan community proud, Ash.
