Sometimes videos goes viral for their outstanding quality, intriguing messages or just plainly, the sheer uniqueness of the idea behind it. Well, unique is certainly one word to describe this video, depicting friends engaging in battle; Super Smash Bros style!
For players of this popular game I warn you, do not expect this video to be precisely true to form of the gameplay you love so much. This is simply a meer ridiculous re-enactment, inspired by the game itself.
These friends transform themselves into well-known characters such as Sonic, PAC-MAN, Pikachu, Shrek and many more; even including a bearded, testosterone-filled Rosalina. They then battle each other, leaping off ledges, jumping on mattress’ and rolling around in the snow to defeat their opponent.
The ‘battle arenas’ aren’t exactly creative. However, I have to admit, these trashy locations mixed with surprisingly well-done visual effects for the characters special moves and introductions ironically work well together; keeping the video both exciting and entertaining to watch!
Yes, overall this video is pointless…
