Top 5 Craziest GTA V Mods

Check out 5 of the craziest mods released for GTA V.
This article is over 9 years old and may contain outdated information

Grand Theft Auto V is a wild game on its own, but thanks to all the mods being released over the last few weeks, the game is starting to look a little like Saint's Row. (Of course, that's not a bad thing!) However, it wouldn't be a stretch to say the GTA modding community is sending gamers on a wild goose -- well, whale chase to the center of crazyville.

If GTA V isn't ridiculous enough for you, check out these five downloadable mods that will take your game play to some seriously crazy levels. Just know that they're likely to get you banned on GTA Online if you think you're going to be causing anarchy with a group of friends.

But hey, this franchise is all about breaking rules, isn't it?

One Whale of a Time

Creator: Alexander Blade

Get it here.

If you've ever wondered what would happen if a 200 ton mammal escaped the aquarium and ended up in the city, this mod has your answer! Now, I'm not sure how it would go down in Liberty City or San Andreas, but in Los Santos pool parties get invaded, helicopters get attacked, and traffic gets backed up.

As silly as it sounds, it really looks like a one man, I mean whale, apocalypse with the way this big ocean dweller just flops straight from the sky onto unsuspecting pedestrians and houses.

Here, Kitty Kitty

Creator: Alexander Blade

Get it here.

If you're of the belief that cats are evil, the Killer Kitty mod is going to do nothing to change your opinion. If you love cats, beware. This GTA V is a Molotov-cocktail-dealing, AK-47 wielding, car-stealing, killing machine.

I'm not sure if this proves that cats are smarter than dogs but if anything, it proves that you can have one hell of a time playing as a cat in Los Santos.

Sink and Swim

Creator: Script Mods

Get it here.

If flooding an entire city is on your bucket list, done and done. The Atlantis themed mod, also known as the Tsunami mod or the Drought Mod, allows you to drown the entire city of Los Santos and then some. It is actually a three-in-one free-for-all, as you can cause the city a severe drought, hit it with a devastating Tsunami, and eventually find the lost city of Atlantis.

Did I mention in the Drought Mod, you can drive around the bottom of the ocean see a bunch of dead killer whales?

Fire Breath

Creator: Kokolaty

Get it here.

This mod is pretty self-explanatory. It is also a game-changer; unlike the three previous mods, you can actually use this mod in any cutscene which has some pretty hilarious results. Granted, you can't actually cause real damage. But hey, it's a great way to add some excitement to a boring cinematic.

Ragdoll On Demand

Creator: Sakratt

 Get it here.

Have you ever felt like a situation was way too serious and needed a way to cut the tension? Well, the Ragdoll mod can do just that, along with ruining perfectly good moments and adding excitement to ridiculously boring ones.

This mod defies the nature of physics with a single tap, sending your character into some hilarious collapsible positions. The over-dramatic theatrics can be used both in and out of gameplay. If you're daring enough, try playing the entire game like this.

And there you have it - the five craziest GTA V mods. Have you used any of these? Are there any crazy mods we missed? Let us know in the comments below!
