Demon’s Souls Releasing for Download on PSN

Demon's Souls will be available for sale on PSN starting January 8 for $19.99.

With the new information about the upcoming Dark Souls 2, the entire franchise has gotten a lot of attention as players go back to play through prior games in preparation for the new release.

Demon’s Souls, the first game in the series, was actually originally supposed to have its online servers shut down this past March, only to have Atlus announce later that the online component of the game would “continue for the forseeable future”.  This was good news to players, as the game loses a very great deal of its features without the online component.

Now the game is getting a revival in the form of a new release on PSN.  Starting January 8 the game can be purchased at $19.99 for anyone who wants it.  To help promote it, Atlus is also going to have a Pure White World Tendency event from the eighth to the 14th, which makes the game a bit easier while also allowing certain events that require the Pure White environment to occur at all.

Pick up your copy and see what the fuss is about.
