Be Part of the GameSkinny Crew at PAX East!
Come to PAX East as part of the GameSkinny coverage team!
We can't totally spill the beans on PAX East yet, but we have big plans, and you're a big part of them. For several folks, we'll be springing for Friday and/or Sunday day passes. (Sorry - Saturday and 3 day sold out already.) Others will be getting full on 3 day Press Passes.We are limited on the number of Press Passes by PAX East itself, I don't yet have the numbers.
We'll be having a meetup near the convention to hand out shirts, swag and just hang out as a team. While at the convention we'll be sure you're decked out in GS gear, and assignments and pre-coverage tips will be plentiful as we near the event. Folks with Press Passes especially will be expected to do some serious coverage, networking and so forth, but everyone will have goals to work towards (while also having a blast at PAX!)

I would be absolutely ecstatic to get a Press pass for Pax East!
As a veteran con-goer, I would love to have the press perspective of a convention. I would particularly love to cover the BYOC (Bring your own computer) LAN event and maybe even put a tournament coverage spin on it if the opportunity arose.

I went to my first convention in October, NYCC, and had an amazing time. PAX has always been on my to-do list and after NYCC, the idea seemed way less intimidating. I totally plan on covering the event, even if that's not officially why I'm there. I'm hoping that since the new Fallout game is rumored to be set in Boston that Bethesda will have something happening there.

Hi, this will be my 3rd trip as PRESS with Guild Launch and my 2nd with GameSkinny. I come with many pre-existing relationships with the PR companies for many of the developers. What Kind of Pass?
I'd prefer Press, but I would be willing to do any of the passes.
Why are you Interested in Going?
I would definitely be writing from a dev perspective. My dev group is going to the convention (I wasn't able to get a ticket) and I really feel like that's a great part of PAX -- the outreach to Indie Megabooth, etc. Also, I've previously been to a PAX event, so I sort of know my way around big conventions.

I could do any of the Friday or Sunday passes, but I would prefer Friday if possible. I'm not sure if I would be a good candidate for the press pass since I haven't had experience at these conventions before.
I'm interested in going because it would be my first PAX and I would love to feel the convention experience. I would also want to cover some of the EA Games and Ubisoft sections while meeting up with the GameSkinny crowd.
