Final Fantasy 7 Remake

Long-awaited and widely anticipated, the Final Fantasy 7 Remake is a well, remake of the classic PlayStation 1 JRPG. Several key members of the original FF7 team returned to work on the remake, which began development since at least 2015.

The game will retell the original's core story while delving deeper into some characters and narrative elements. It will also feature an Active Time Battle (ATB) system, marking a departure from the original's turn-based battles. Some trailers for the game have shown off a brand-new, currently unknown character, as well as various changes to certain minigames and in-game sequences. Most strikingly, the Remake features completely new character models and backgrounds. According to the developers, the game will be episodic, although there is currently no definite structure to its release schedule.
