The 2015 shooter of the year is back with its first sequel, Splatoon 2 takes place two years after Splatoon with characters both old and new making an appearance. The game brings back the classic ink-blasting, zone controlling, surface painting gameplay its know for, but now with more features across the board. New weapons, game modes, outfits, and abilities to name a few. Perhaps most notable among the new features, Splatoon 2 will feature real local multiplayer for on-the-go play with multiple Switch consoles. Nintendo intends to back Splatoon 2 as an eSports game.
