Since the first game was released back in 1985, Bomberman has been a well-known party and battle game to many. After years of little to no news about a console release for the franchise, Bomberman finally returns in "Super Bomberman R" on the Nintendo Switch. In this new Bomberman title, the general objective remains the same as always: Take control of Bomberman, place bombs, and defeat your enemies and rivals. The same classic gameplay structure, but now in a more modern style with 3D stages and photo-real graphics. Featuring online play, you can battle it out with players from around the world. The gameplay features "Battle" and "Story" modes. In Battle, you fight aginst other players, with up to 8 players. In story mode, with an optional 2 player mode, you play your way through 50 unique stages, and now the win condition is not to simply defeat all the enemies in a stage.
