Starting April 24 at 1 p.m. EST and going through April 27 at 1 p.m. EST, the multiplayer portion of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will be free to play on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. This is fresh off a double XP weekend for both Modern Warfare and Warzone.

The news comes from the official Call of Duty Twitter account (via Polygon).

Unlike the free trial for The Division 2, however, which gives players carte blanche access to the game for eight hours up to Agent Level 8, the Modern Warfare free-to-play multiplayer weekend only gives players access to five of the mode’s more than three dozen maps.

PC Gamer notes that Call of Duty website CharlieIntel lists the available maps as Hovec Sawmill, Talsik Backlot, Aniyah Incursion, Hideout, and Shoot House. Modes “will support 6v6 and 10v10,” according to PC Gamer
