The Theatrhythm series is a spinoff of the Final Fantasy series. In the games you choose four characters from different Final Fantasy series to play levels. Each level consists of three stages field, battle and event. Each stage has different mechanics. You need to tap on the screen in the right spots on the beat of the music.

This new game features 200 songs; that’s a huge increase in comparison to the first game with 70 songs. Characters from the new Final Fantasy series are also included. New in this game is the versus mode that lets players compete against each other. It’s now also possible to make your own quests.

Square Enix didn’t give a exact date, but it’s certainly coming in 2014.
