New Apex Legends Trailer Gives a Closer Look at Valkyrie

Respawn Entertainment has released a new trailer for Season 9 of Apex Legends, showing off gameplay for the new legend, Valkyrie.

Developer Respawn Entertainment has released a new trailer for Apex Legends’ upcoming Season 9. Like previous trailers released for the game recently, this one focuses on the new Legend Valkyrie, but rather than providing insight into her background, this trailer showcases almost 2 minutes of Valkyrie in action.

The trailer outlines Valkyrie’s different abilities in action, and it’s already clear that this new legend will really shake up Apex Legends’ gameplay.

Her passive ability is her jetpack, which refuels over time but can be used at will. Her tactical is a swarm of missiles she can rain down on enemies, and her ultimate allows her to launch her entire squad high in the air so they can reposition over long distances.

Valkyrie’s added firepower and mobility are sure to make her a welcomed asset to any Apex Legends squad, not just for the classic battle royale mode but also the new Arenas mode, which is set to arrive with the release of Season 9 on May 4.
