As Telltale Games promised, via Twitter last week, the launch trailer for Game of Thrones: A Telltale Games Series released today. The game will release in a series of six episodes, starting tomorrow with the first episode, “Iron from Ice.”

After the release of the first trailer, it is now known that the game is about House Forrester and their involvement in the conflicts going on in Westeros. The first trailer for the series also showed some familiar characters to fans of the HBO show, including Cersei Lannister, Tyrion Lannister, and Margaery Tyrell.

The launch trailer gives more of an idea of how all these different characters feel about the Forresters. Cersei clearly doesn’t trust trust them, Margaery defends them and empathizes with them, and Tyrion offers them a warning.

The trailer ends on an unsettling note when the determined Forresters state that “[their] House will not fall” and Ramsay Snow is shown right after saying “this is a lovely pile of timber isn’t it?” with a malevolent look on his face.

It certainly seems like Ramsay will act as the main antagonist to the Forresters in the game, but as anyone who has seen the HBO show or read the book series it is based on knows, Game of Thrones is full of surprising twists, so it’s hard to know what to expect.

If you plan on playing Game of Thrones: A Telltale Game Series on PC, Mac, or PS4 in North America, you can do so starting tomorrow when “Iron from Ice” releases. Xbox One, Xbox 360, and European PS4 owners can get the game December 3rd, and it’s December 4th for iOS users.
