There’s no doubt that The Last of Us 2 is one of gaming’s most-anticipated titles, this decade and last. One fan has already made a PS1-demake of the game in Sony’s upcoming Dreams, and stills of a now-scrapped animated film connecting the first game and the sequel released online to fevered fanfare.
When pre-orders went live in September, the limited-run $230 Ellie Edition sold out crazy fast, perhaps faster than Sony and Naughty Dog had anticipated.
