Stardew Valley Gets Spicy with Battle Royale Mod

Didn't think you'd be able to pummel people in SDV, did you?

Whether from ConcernedApe’s own updates or community-made mods, Stardew Valley always seems to be getting some sort of new content to flesh out or personalize its indie-darling self.

The latest mod to make waves in the community is Battle Royalley, which is exactly what it sounds like: A battle royale mod for a farming RPG.

For real. Battle Royalley allows up to 100 players to duke it out in SDV BR-style, including a building feature similar to Fortnite.

At the start of a match, players will be dropped in random locations in Stardew Valley and be tasked with finding weapons or other helpful items scattered across the area, which they will then use in mortal combat against the other members of the server.

To get in on the fun, you’ll need to install the SMAPI mod loader. The creator of Battle Royalley also recommends installing this server browser to find servers hosted by players you don’t know. Do note the server browser can only be used with the Steam version of the game.

Before installing, be sure to read the mod page on Nexus Mods. You don’t want to break something in your quest to disrupt the town’s lazy day-to-day.

Needless to say, this is probably the least expected Stardew Valley mod to come out.
