Unturned Germany Map Guide: Best Locations

Find out which location nodes have the best possible loot in this Germany map guide for Unturned.

The most recent update for Unturned has introduced a whole new official map — Germany. This new map mainly consists of wild terrain, with 19 locations in total. Most of these locations are inspired by real-life places that actually exist in Germany, such as some of its biggest cities and even a few military bases.

Follow this guide if you want to know which locations are the best for looting, so you don’t have to search for them all by yourself.

Best Locations on the Germany Map in Unturned

Aerospace Defence Complex

This is by far the best location on the entire Germany map in Unturned. It is located in the north-western corner of the map, and it is the place with the most loot possible, including the excellent Fighter Jets and many other cool military vehicles.

On top of that, the place is simply huge! It has four levels in total and is filled with fuel tanks. But in order to get inside you will need to bring along a generator, as there are only three doors that lead inside — and all of them must be powered for you to be able to open them.

Schwarzwald Military Base

The main military base of the Germany map is also the largest one and spawns mostly military vehicles of all types, such as Hummingbird, Hind, Orca, Annushka, APC, Toiler, Ural, Jeep, and Tank.

It is located in the western part of the map. And just like Aerospace Defence Complex, its gates need to be powered with the help of the generator.

Berlin

When you get full of all the military loot, you can go to the biggest city on the map — Berlin. There you will find huge amounts of civilian and coalition loot, such as shirts, caps, hockey masks, etc.

It is best to approach the city through the sewers system, unless you want to bring a ladder and climb over a protective wall that surrounds Berlin.

Ostsee Compound

This node is located in the north-eastern part of the map. It is a compact military base that spawns some great loot, such as food and vehicles. The closest city to Ostsee Compound is Munich, which is just across the river in the south, where you can find boats and jetskis.

This compound is based on a real location in Germany, and the word “Ostsee” means “East Sea,” also known as the Baltic Sea.

Limestone Quarry

To the west from the Ostsee Compund, in the central northern part of the map you will find a Limestone Quarry — the best possible place for getting metal. However, you need to be extra careful here, as this place is wide open and perfect for snipers.

The quarry is another place that is inspired by a real-life location in Germany — Solnhofen limestone rock formations.

Frankfurt Airfield

An abandoned airplane base is located in the most southern part of the map. It spawns all kinds of airplanes and has enough fuel to bring them up. So, if you’re looking forward to fly over the Germany map, then head straight here.

Fernweh Prison

The massive prison complex of Farnweh is located either to the north-east from Berlin, which is located in the central part of the map, or south-west from Munich.

This location is primarily empty with lots of small rooms and hiding places, which it makes it perfect for PvP combat. But other than that, there is really nothing to look for, which isn’t surprising since the word Farnweh means “wanderlust” in German.

Mawby’s Farm

Lastly, if you are looking for a source of food, then you will need to find some berries. Out of all location nodes in Germany the Mawby’s Farm is the best place to get all sorts of berries.

It is located in the south-western part of the map, not too far away from the Frankfurt Airfield.

As you see the most important spots on the map appear in its upper part. The rest of the map mainly consists of the wild terrain that spawns wild animals. You will also find a few other farms as well, but the rest of the map is strictly a wasteland.
